We don't keep your info forever. Here's our general approach:

Booking and payment records are kept for 7 years to comply with Canadian tax and accounting regulations. Guest preference data stays on file as long as you're an active customer (we consider you active if you've stayed or inquired within the past 3 years). Marketing consent records are maintained until you opt out. After that, we'll remove you from our lists within 30 days.

Once data's no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it so it can't be traced back to you.

Our website and services aren't designed for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from minors.

If you're booking for a family with kids, that's totally fine - we just need the parent or guardian's info. If we discover we've accidentally collected data from someone under 18 without parental consent, we'll delete it as soon as possible.

We're based in Canada, but some of our service providers operate in other countries. This means your data might be processed outside of Canada.

When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information according to Canadian privacy standards. By using our services, you're acknowledging that your data might be transferred to and processed in other countries.
